Profitable Treadmill Niche Shows Great Potential

In todays Profitable Niche report we are looking at the seed word “treadmill“.  Treadmill itself had over 235,578 searches and google reports 9,240,000 pages matching that search.  There are 52 Google Adword competitors bidding for “treadmill” and the Exact Match CPC they are paying is $4.68 - %5.85 per click.

There are quite a few promising profitable niches I see in this report.

sole treadmill

The most profitable key phrase based on the Exact Match CPC is sole treadmill where PPC advertisers are paying $30.31 - $37.88 a click.  The number of searches for sole treadmill is 3,630 with 25,900 pages in google matching that request.  This yields a KEI of 508, which isn’t the highest, however it is well above 100 which is one of the requirements I look for when considering a search term to go after.  With the high payout of $30.31 - $37.88 this is my favorite.

buying treadmill

The next most profitable keyphrase is buying treadmill with advertisers paying $8.37 - $10.46 a click.  This is a much smaller niche than buying treadmill with only 1,265, However the KEI is 3,030.73 and there are only 528 pages in google matching.  It would be much easier to rank high on buying treadmill than buying treadmill with the trade off being less searches and less pay per click.

bowflex treadmill

bowflex treadmill is just below bowflex treadmill in profitability with advertisers paying %8.06 - $10.07 a click.  bowflex treadmill offers a larger amount of searches at 9,137 searches and 50,100 matching pages resulting in a KEI of 1,666.36.

Quality Content: A Low Cost, High Quality Approach To Unique Content

Ok so you have you have found a hot niche but now you need content.  I recently learned of a new service called Quality Content, by Jonathan Leger thanks to a review posted by Dane Morgan on his blog

Here is an excerpt from his review

Quality Content is the newest brain child of Jonathan Leger. Jonathan has put out a few of what I consider highly innovative sites recently. If I’m honest I think a couple of them have issues that prevent me from getting in on them, but even the ones I’m not into are flat out innovative. But his newest offering is simply amazing.

I have used other products by Jonathan Leger in the past and am currently using his Real Traffic Exchange.  I have nothing but praise for his products, they are high quality and truly work.

I signed up for the Quality Content and have already made good use of it.

In todays online community where there are many different people selling different products on a particular topic, one needs to be unique if on desires to stand out from the crowd and win a large market for oneself..

Your product must have to be like no other in the market if you wish to win the attention of your prospects in the first place. This does not mean your product should be the best in the market but it must have some unique features that the competing products don’t have .This will seem like a daunting or even an impossible task at the first glance but the truth is that it doesnt take a genius to figure it all out.You could start by reviewing some of the competing products in your niche, marking down all the features they all seem to have then, tweaking your own product to look different from them. Thrifty Car Rentals Hard To Find, No Wonder Keyword Is In Demand

Last time I needed to rent a car it seems I was suprised at how they milked the insurance for every penny they were willing to pay.  Since the insurance company was footing the bill I had no incentive to search for thrifty car rentals.  However, that changed recently when I needed to pay for a rental out of pocket.

Naturally, this made me curious about what a keyword analysis on  “rent a car” would pull up. :-)

At the top of the KEI list I was suprised to find “car rental” with a KEI of 313,608.  I would have suspected that to have been saturated.  Even though the KEI looks good and profitability ok, it’s not my favorite on this list.

My favorite is “thrifty car rentals” which has a KEI of 3,677, 10 competitors, and the highest Exact Match CPC at $14.46 - $18.07.

Take a look at the most recent profitable niche report and let me know what you think.

Thrifty Car Rentals is a large car rental and even offers an affiliate program.   (The link for their affiliate program is at the bottom of the page however I could not get it to come up when I clicked on it.)

With the stats showing on Thrifty Car Rentals  and the potential profit from the affiliate program they are offering I would definately say this is a profitable niche.

Other contenders for this niche are:

budget car rental
national car rental
alamo car rental
las vegas car rental
car rental las vegas nv
car rental company
luxury car rental
orlando car rental
one way car rental
car rental honolulu

Would love to here what you think about this one.

The report again is right here  profitable niche report

#8 On Google But No Money

Prior to learning about KEI I went after keywords the way most markerters did … popularity. If there were lots of people entering the term in the search engine I thought it was a good keyword.

A prime example of that is a site I have, Best Fishing Tips, which has a PR of 4 and comes up on the first page of google for the search phrase “fishing tips”

When I first sat down to market the web site I reasoned:

Fishing Tip is a popular keyword and those people want to catch more fish so they will buy the product I am advertising to help them catch more fish…

Well I have been successfull getting to the front page in Google for the search term “fishing tips” but the site isn’t making any money. (well maybe $30 a month on Adsense, but no affiliate sales

Why?

Well I can see why by running a Profitable Niche report on it.

Bids on the term “Fishing Tips” are under .50 cents

This means that PPC advertisers have learned that people entering “Fishing Tip” in the search engines are not buyers. Where there is aggressive PPC advertising you can usually bet there is money being made. (or people with deep pockets who like to throw their money away on Google Adwords). Even if the people are throwing there money away on Adwords, I think we can be certain that there are enough competent PPC marketers out there that IF NO ONE IS BIDDING on a particular keyword or search term then there is no money to be made there.

If those people where coming to the site from a search term which the report showed PPC advertisers to be aggressively marketing to I am certain I would see sales. If not sales at least a much higher Google Adsense check from that site.

Here is a copy of the report I just ran on the seed word “fishing” (report is in PDF format, right click and choose save)

What am I going to do? Well I am going to focus on shifting my keyword focus by posting articles rich in the following search terms

lake erie fishing charter
alaska fishing lodge
florida charter fishing
florida bass fishing
fishing charter
alaska fishing
fishing trip alaska
fishing game
florida fishing guide
alaska salmon fishing
florida fishing

All of the above have an excellent KEI and aggressive PPC activity. The excellent KEI means there is room to get a good ranking in google, aggressive PPC activity indicates people entering those search terms are spending money.

PS: I would save this post and download the report because I might wake up tomorrow and realize I was an idiot to give this out. :-)
